Huai'an Crane Rental Company Let's introduce some basic knowledge about safe operation of small cranes. Let's have a look!
Before turning the small crane, observe whether there are people or obstacles in the turning radius of the frame and the tail of the turntable, and whether there are overhead wires or other obstacles in the moving space of the boom. A small crane equipped with four legs is only allowed to operate on the side and rear of the crane when lifting and rotating. Operation in the front area is prohibited. Products equipped with the fifth leg can operate in the front when the fifth leg is in operation. All terrain cranes and tires can operate within 360 degrees.
During slewing operation, the horn shall be sounded first to remind people to pay attention, then the brake or lock of the slewing mechanism shall be released, the operating handle shall be pulled steadily, and the slewing speed shall be as slow as possible, the accelerator pedal shall not be used roughly to accelerate, and the heavy object shall not be allowed to swing under the swing state. The slewing operation is not allowed until the lifted heavy object is completely off the ground. When the slewing power is cut off, the upper structure stops rotating, Step down the swing brake pedal to fix the upper structure. Lock the swing with the locking mechanism while stepping down the brake pedal. Release the pedal and the upper structure will remain stationary.
When the object lifted by the folding jib crane rotates to the designated position, grasp the rotation inertia, slowly retract the rotation handle in advance to make the object slowly stop rotating, avoid sudden braking, and prevent the object from swinging due to inertia and increasing the operation risk.
In the same working cycle, the slewing action shall be performed before the boom extension action and the downward luffing action, while the boom retraction action and the upward luffing action shall be completed after the slewing.
Before lifting heavy objects and turning around, the outriggers should be checked one by one again to prevent rollover accidents caused by individual outriggers being soft or the ground being poor. After lifting heavy objects, they must turn slowly, and at the same time, the tow ropes should be tied on both sides of the objects to prevent them from swinging. The swinging of heavy objects will cause the boom to be subjected to great lateral (lateral) bending, It will produce large transverse bending moment, which will damage the boom in serious cases, especially the goose head boom and long boom.
When the small crane is operating at the shore, wharf, etc., the small crane shall not rotate rapidly to prevent the small crane from falling into the water due to inertial force. The throttle valve of small throttle operated crane shall not be too large during lifting operation, otherwise the hydraulic pump will be easily damaged, and the speed shall not be greater than 1500r/min.
