Check the lubrication of the friction surface between the basic boom (fixed part) and the telescopic boom (moving part) of the crane, the wear of the sliding block, and whether there is any foreign matter blocking. The upper and lower sides of the relative sliding part of the boom are provided with sliding blocks. The general standard stipulates that the distance between the upper and lower sides of the telescopic boom joint is 5mm, and the clearance on each side is not more than 2mm. If the wear of the upper and lower sliders exceeds 2mm, when the telescopic boom extends, it will cause the telescopic boom to tilt downward and cannot keep the same line with the basic boom, which will cause the telescopic boom to vibrate. When the boom retracts, the resistance is greater and the problem is more serious.
1. The inspection method is visual observation. By observing the movement of the telescopic mechanism and its boom, the working state of the hydraulic cylinder and the telescopic wire rope in the boom can be judged;
2. Use a ruler or a gauge block (a special measuring tool made according to the normal arm joint clearance size) to measure the arm joint clearance size. When the sliding block and kingpin bushing are found to be seriously worn, replace the sliding block and bushing as required, and adjust the clearance between the sliding block and the telescopic arm to make the fit clearance meet the requirements. At the same time, check the sliding block part and apply oil (No. 3 calcium base grease). The sliding part of the arm joint should also be applied with oil.
